Having given up her privileged life, she quietly draws on her family's resources to help secure a 10 billion dollar investment for his company. At Eileen Foster's birthday celebration, however, a staged encounter in the guest bathroom makes her look unfaithful with Liam's uncle, Connor Foster. The accusation shatters Caroline's marriage and forces her away from the Foster household. Returning to the family she once left behind, she faces the consequences of a scheme involving Natty Parker and Liam's mother, while preparing to answer betrayal with revenge.
