When her mother beats her, Julia runs into Eric, who has been searching for her and rescues her. Her friend George suspects she set a trap to seduce Eric, but Eric dismisses the idea - until he overhears a call between Julia and her father. Misreading the conversation, Eric concludes she is a gold digger after money. He gives her cash and tells her to leave. Meanwhile, Julia's parents drug her and hand her to Pete as a gift. Eric then discovers she is pregnant and races to find her.
